Āta Whakarongo – listen carefully / 29 June – 31 July, 2024

Awa Rere Roa – Whanganui Māori Arts Collective, in partnership with The Sarjeant Gallery presents an artistic offering to acknowledge and celebrate Puanga.

Building on long established artistic histories we bring you “Āta Whakarongo – listen carefully” an exhibition showcasing over 20 emerging and established Māori artists who have a connection to Te Awa Tupua or the Whanganui region. Alongside this will run a series of educational workshops and wananga to activate space and engage the community through the school holidays to the end of July.

Some workshops will require registration whilst others will be open to all, for more information head to our events page.

Open for public viewing from Saturday 29th June – 31st July
Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm. Sundays Closed.
