Whanganui Opera Week Café Evening: Sunset Family Picnic at Pukenamu

Venue: Pukenamu, on the lawn at the rear of Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery
Free, all welcome. No bookings required.

As part of the Whanganui Opera Week, students from the 2026 NZ Opera School will sing under the trees as the sun sets on Pukenamu accompanied by Sharolyn Kimmorley.

Bring friends and family, a deckchair or blanket, and settle on the lawn at the rear of Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery.
Please feel free to bring a picnic, but this is an alcohol free, family event.

Please park on the street. The gallery carpark will be closed, except for mobility sticker holders.

Cancelled in case of rain.
