Paul Maseyk: Jugs in New Zealand Painting

Date: Sunday 2 March 2025
Time: 11am
Venue: Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery
Free, all welcome

Join the artist for a tour of the exhibition in conversation with curators Greg Donson and Milly Mitchell-Anyon. Combining two of his loves – paintings and jugs – Paul Maseyk has made over 60 jugs modelled from the jugs seen in New Zealand paintings that he’s found by sifting through collections, magazines, and across the internet.

This exhibition has been produced in partnership with The Dowse Art Museum with generous assistance from Creative New Zealand.
