A Saurian Gecko Psycher.

Date: Thursday 24 April 2025
Time: 2-4pm
Venue: Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery classroom

James and Harry from The Distant Veil, a Whanganui-based miniature painting studio and 3D printing workshop will be running an exciting session in the classroom that will bring to life the world of 3D printed figures. If you play Dungeons and Dragons or tabletop games and want to learn how to bring your figures to life this will be the class for you.

This session will introduce you to painting miniatures, you will learn about technique, acrylic paints and the types of brushes that are good to use. You will be painting a 32mm sized figure designed by One Page Rules called a Saurian Gecko Psycher. This futuristic lizard will give you a blank canvas to learn how easy it is to begin miniature painting. The example provided shows what we can do together in a short 2 hour workshop. Suitable for 12-18 year olds.
