Our Puanga exhibition is about Māori futures.
He ao āpopō, he ao tea is a hopeful extraction from a proverb written by Dr. Rangitakuku Metekingi of Whanganui iwi. It translates to ‘tomorrow is a new day, and the new day will bring clarity’. This is the ngako, the core theme of our exhibition and is about manifesting futures and dreams. We are asking for the community to embrace arts for holistic well-being and to remember and honour the inspiring words of Dr. Rangitakuku Metekingi.
