Part of ‘Pae Kuaka – A knowledge conference converging art & science’.
Tukutuku Creation Workshop with Ta Piri o Te Rangi Pirikahu. We are creating a tukutuku panel as part of our connection to Alaska through the Kuaka – the bar-tailed godwit. Tukutuku is a woven panel found within communal houses as part tribal histories, often conveying connections to the natural world and beyond.
Cost: Free. Materials provided. Limited numbers.
